Tara Macpherson is a graduate from the Waterfront Theatre School where she studied Musical Theatre and Drama and has been a theatre lover since the age of 0. She has appeared in various musical productions of Rent (Alexi Darling), Pirates of Penzance (Edith), Legally Blonde (Vocalist), Footloose (Country Kicker) and the reoccurring children’s improvised theatre show Pop-Up Tales. She has also been part of various straight plays including Peter Rabbit (Mrs Rabbit), Othello: A Women's Story (Lodovico), The Crucible (Mary Warren), Secret Santa (Mrs Parker), Romeo and Juliet: Sort of (Nurse) and Dating, Mating and Relating (Tara). She has also been a part of various film and television productions including Signal High (Betty), A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe fits (Isla/Artsy Girl), Dark Towers (Vampire) and Black Mirror Nosedive (Office Lady). If her free time she enjoys voicing overly dramatic characters for Blended Audio and Content Lab and pretending she’s an anime character. Or, you know, reading fantasy books. That’s something normal people do, right?
