ABOUT THE PROJECT
This is a zero-budget independent feature film shot entirely in one room, in real time, over the course of one continuous take (or made to feel like one). The story unfolds through a series of intense, personal phone conversations over the course of one hour.

We are looking for committed, emotionally intelligent performers who can thrive in a minimalist but high-pressure artistic setting. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious, performance-driven project designed to showcase raw, human storytelling.

CAST BREAKDOWN
LEAD MALE ACTOR (On-Screen)
Age: Early 20s to mid 20s
Race: Open
Role Type: On-screen, one-room, one-actor performance

Requirements:
Excellent memorization skills (60-minute script, minimal cuts)

Emotional stamina and naturalistic acting style

Comfortable with phone-based acting and responding to live voice calls

Can maintain emotional arc, physicality, and realism for long takes

Comfortable with light physicality (e.g. changing shirt on camera)

Rehearsals will involve full run-throughs. Filming will take place in the evenings; rehearsals in the afternoons.

Bonus:
Previous stage or one-take performance experience

Experience working with improvisation or non-traditional filming styles

MALE VOICE ACTOR (Off-Screen)
Age: Early 20s to mid 20s
Voice Style: Natural, grounded, emotionally responsive
Role Type: Off-screen (voice only)

Requirements:
Strong vocal performance and timing

Must be available for live phone call performances during filming (remotely or on site)

Must be able to record own audio in good sound quality

Ability to take direction and respond live to pacing cues from lead actor

FEMALE VOICE ACTORS (Off-Screen – 3 Roles)
1. Female Voice #1
Age: Early 20s

Tone: Younger sister, emotional.

Performance: Light, conflicted, warm and intense.

2. Female Voice #2
Age: Early 20s to mid 20s

Tone: Romantic, sharp, intimate

Performance: Emotionally volatile, layered

3. Female Voice #3
Age: Late 30s – early 40s

Tone: Authority figure, mother or mentor energy

Performance: Grounded, stern but loving

Requirements for All Voice Roles:
Great mic presence and natural delivery

Must be able to record clean audio (via phone or mic setup)

Must be available to join rehearsals and live calls (remote or in person)

Experience with remote direction and self-recording is ideal

DISPATCHER (Off-Screen)
Age: Early 30s (open to anyone who can play a mature, calm, composed presence)
Gender: Open to male or female
Role Type: Off-screen (voice only)

Tone:
Clear, professional, emotionally restrained but human

A consistent, anchoring presence during moments of panic or tension

Think 911 operator or emergency service personnel

Requirements:
Strong vocal performance, neutral accent preferred

Must be able to respond naturally and remain composed under stress

Comfortable delivering live voice performances over call

Must be able to record own audio in good sound quality
