Project Overview
A man and a woman go on a series of short, bad dates separately until they find out that they are a perfect match.

Audition Area Scope: Johannesburg, Sandton and surrounding areas
Target Audience: Millennials, Gen Z
Tone: Humorous
Role Breakdowns
Male Date (Almost Guy): Man, age 27-35.
Male Date (Mansplainer): Man, age 27-35.
Female Date (Foreigner): Woman, age 25-33.
Audition Requirements:
1. Introduce yourself: Name, age, and brief background. Include profile shots: front on, turn to left, turn to right.
2. Reaction/Acting shots (Male Date): Act like you're the smartest person in the room; act like you're overly confident and smooth.
3. Reaction/Acting shots (Female Date): Demonstrate speaking in a foreign language; act like you're trying to be polite, but you're confused.
Script Lines:
Male Date: "Almost bought in Fourways. Almost made that flip. Almost got rich off Bitcoin. Almost, almost, almost."
Female Date: (in a language of your choice, not English) "You like tables? Your teeth are very big!"
Technical Guidelines:
-Use a well-lit environment for recording.
- Ensure clear audio with minimal background noise.
- Record in landscape mode.
- Submissions must be shared using a secure video-sharing platform, ie. Google Drive, YouTube, We Transfer, etc.
Submission Guidelines:
-Actors are encouraged to submit a self-tape audition.
- Audition tapes should include a brief introduction, showcasing personality, and delivery of selected lines from the script provided.
- The audition should reflect the character type the actor is applying for.
- Submissions must be sent by 24 October 2025, 23:59
