Exciting audition opportunity for boys aged 9-12 years in Cape Town! The iconic musical Oliver! is on the horizon, and the search is on for the perfect candidates to fill the roles of Oliver and Fagin's Gang.

Auditions are set for: 20 & 21 June 2026

Location: LAMTA, Cape Town

Roles Available:

• Oliver: 3 boys required to alternate in the role.

• Fagin's Gang & Workhouse Children: Ensemble of boys where Cape Town-based kids will perform in the Cape Town run and Johannesburg-based kids will perform in Johannesburg.

Requirements:

• Age: 9-12 years

• Height: No taller than 147 cm (4'10")

• Voice: Strong singers with unbroken voices

• Skills: Some dance/movement ability is required

• Residency: Must be based in South Africa (Cape Town or Johannesburg)

Audition Preparation:

• Prepare the sheet music provided upon registration

• Be ready to demonstrate basic movement ability

Important Information:

• All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during auditions

• Do not register children who do not meet the requirements
