Actors and actresses needed for short action film, Cape Town

"Saving Kuila" is a short action film about Dani Koopman, the daughter of a well known kick boxer, who comes back to her hometown to celebrate the fifth anniversary of her father's death. Dani finds herself adjusting to being back home but, all is not a peace when Kayla Van Wyk, the daughter of the man who killed her father, challenges Dani to a kickboxing duel.

This film is being made by second year film students at CPUT.

They are looking for:

KAYLA VAN WYK:
- Female
- Antagonist
- Colored
- Early 20's

Kayla is the enraged antagonist. She is angry about her father's supposed wrongful arrest. She holds a deep grudge against the Van Wyk family, Dani in particular. She is willing to do anything in order to avenge her father's now infamous name.

Requirements:
- Big emotional range
- Physically fit
- Some experience in kick boxing, karate or dance

KAYLA'S SISTER
- Female
- Colored
- Between 8 and 10 years old

She looks up to her sister and is intrigued by anything and everything she does.

DYLAN THOMPSON
- Male
- Caucasian
- Early 20's

Dani's creepy co-worker who always seems to get what he wants and always seems to get his way.

DANI'S BOSS
- Male
- Any race
- Late 30's/Early 40's

Has a no nonsense attitude and wants Dani to succeed despite all the obstacles that get thrown in front of her.
