The singing competition The Voice SA is back! The Voice SA Season 2 is once again looking for exceptional talent with a unique sound.

Dates and venues for the open auditions:

Port Elizabeth
Date: Wednesday, 12 October 2016
Venue: The Beach Hotel on Marine Drive

Cape Town
Date: Saturday and Sunday 15 and 16 October 2016
Venue: Belmont Square, Rondebosch

Durban
Date: Wednesday, 19 October 2016
Venue: Growth Point, King's Park Stadium

Johannesburg
Date: Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October 2016
Venue: Sasani Studios in Balfour Park

Auditions start at 09:00, but those auditioning may arrive from 08:00. Keep an eye on the official The Voice SA Twitter page for audition updates on the day.

It is also possible to submit a song online for a for a possible fast track to the selection committee before 4 October 2016 at 21:00. Details are available hereIf your online video does not get you fast tracked, you are welcome to come along and attend the open call auditions in the city closest to you too.

These initial auditions aren't filmed for TV because this is where the initial selection of voices takes place. An anonymous panel of music experts judge the auditions and decide on who will make it through to the show's Blind Auditions where auditionees sing for the series judges. -You have to be 18 years old on the day of your audition. There is no upper age-limit.
-You need to be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
-You will have to sign a document stating that you don’t have an existing contract with any recording company.

Rembember to bring essentials such as your ID, an umbrella, sunscreen and enough hydration to ensure that you stay cool and fresh for your audition. There might be long queues at the audition venues.

The Voice SA Season 2 will be broadcast on M-Net Channel 101 from January 2017.
