Please note: This is an amateur production i.e. community theatre. Therefor actors don't get paid (or nobody in the production for that matter) due to the nature of the organisation.

A Director is going to be directing Oedipus Rex soon and is looking for a male actor to play Oedipus.

For this iconic, archetypal role, she is looking for an actor aged approximately 35.

The role calls for depth, nuance, subtlety, and real emotion - passion and despair - and a sense of poetry, the ability to speak the language beautifully. It’s one helluva role, and her search is on to find the right actor!
