Men and women 20 - 50 Years old, Western Cape

Thembela Madliki, a finalTheatre Arts Admin Emerging Directors Bursary winner for 2018 is looking to cast for her production Where She Walked, a story about how a family maintains their ties to their culture and tradition against a backdrop of prolonged displacement.

Auditions take place at the Theatre Arts Admin Collective, Methodist Church Hall cnr Milton Road and Wesley Street, Observatory on the 22-23 September from 2pm – 5pm.

Rehearsals being on the 1st October and the performance runs from the 29th October - 4th November.

All people auditioning must be available for these dates.

In search of 3 actors:

- DAUGHTER - Black female, late 20s, preferable Xhosa-speaking.

- FATHER - Black male, late 40s (or a younger actor who can pass as elderly), preferably Xhosa-speaking.

- GIRL - 20-25 years of age, can play younger preferably Xhosa-speaking

Preparation:

- Monologue (length: 2 minutes)

- A song to sing (any genre, length: 1 minute)
