Coloured Female Talents for Musical Theatre Production

Women 23 - 36 Years old, Western Cape

AUDITIONS for THE WAITING GAME...

Please note this is community theatre and the only remuneration will be thundering applause.

We are still looking for:

1. Skye - A sweet and over thinking female in her 20s. She is possessed of an over-abundance of energy, eats fast, laughs in a disney princess voice. Sometimes is seen as a manic pixie. She talks a lot and can seem a bit intense, but she just loves hard and has big emotions. British accent.

Actor description: Adult Female of colour. Non Caucasian. Presenting age is 25-29.

Actor needs to be able to harmonize, be able to light up a room and have genuine joy when acting. British accent.

2. Katherine - Cold and ruthless female lawyer in her late 30s. A tragic event has changed her to the point where she is sent to therapy. She has to open up about the event or else she cannot return back to work. She is extremely complicated and tries to outsmart everyone she meets. She has a British accent.

Actor description: Adult Female of colour. Non Caucasian. Presenting age is early to late 30s.

Actor needs to be able to harmonize, show great depth in acting capacity and be able to be vulnerable. British accent.

SHOW DATES:
The show will run from 10 Aug - 19 August 2023 at The Milnerton Playhouse (Pienaar Rd, Milnerton, 7441)

Then 24 Aug - 2 Sept 2023 at The Masque Theatre (37 Main Rd, Muizenberg, Cape Town, 7945).
