Personal Statement
As a dynamic individual with a passion for the arts, I have aspired for and achieved originality and professionalism in my work. A first for any Honours Drama Student at Rhodes University, I was selected to direct VOID, a devised piece for the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, an annual festival which hosts both local and international artists. VOID was awarded Best Student Production NAF 2015 out of 27 universities. I attribute its success not only to hard work and directing skills, but also to the communication and leadership abilities which I would bring to bear in my career.

Marketing Intern- Worked within a team to promote UBOM!'s family show, 'Bleek Island Adventure.' This experience was an integral part of our honours marketing course, designed to teach us how to market ourselves as well as others. The course covered marketing dynamics, budgeting, design and social work. I worked in the social media marketing team, making videos and promoting the show on websites, social platforms and through interaction with the community.
