Born in a suburb of Soweto, in an area where anything is possible. I was one of the many kids whom got a chance to be part of ongoing talent searches and skill development programs in and around Gauteng. Born into a single headed family of four children whom all but one had a thing for the entertainment industry and being the youngest I had to fight extra hard to get myself noticed and to break free from the chains that kept me bound living under the shadows of my fellow siblings.
During my years of primary and high school I was a very active and social learner, when others saw dancing as a form of entertainment I saw it as platform for prominence and vastness within dance. Later on I got absorbed into acting and became more knowledgeable through the acting workshops I attended seasonally. Famous 4 gave me a real opportunity when we won the JIKA MA JIKA crew vs crew dance competition in 2011 which also got me working with various international and local musicians. In 2012 I was given the privilege to be part of the Bounce crew. In 2013 I got a call back to be one of the lead actors of the movie, ’Hear me Move’ film. Thereafter, I have been doing featured jobs in theatre acts as a puppet operator. Im now pursuing my musical career as a solo artist in a genre popular known as Kwaito. Off stage and away from the flashing lights, I engage in “giving back” activities such as helping those who are struggling with overcoming substance abuse, and sports activities in our area. It is an initiative I have taken on as young artists to give hope to the youth from the township (Soweto) and setting high standards as a good role model. I give hope that coming from the township or an impoverished background should not define you or limit how you turn out in life.
