Hello!
I'm a Tanzanian-born engineer, former marketer and aspiring economist-in-training. I moved to Cape Town in 2007 to study at the University of Cape Town, and fell in love with the city. I graduated with Honours in BSc Engineering in Mechatronics.
Since then I've worked as a Marketer in Kenya (as a brand engineer for P&G), working on product launches, TV ads, radio skits, billboards, celebrity endorsement, social media blitz campaigns and major CSR initiatives across Kenya, Tanzanian, Uganda, Angola, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe.
I then moved right back to Cape Town (I missed Table Mountain, and the fun world of engineering), working for a company making electronic warfare devices made for military applications.
I'm currently working for a Silicon Valley company in Cape Town, writing software for cutting-edge networking and cloud computing applications.
In parallel, I'm currently on my final year of a BSc in Economics and Finance with the University of London (London School of Economics)
I'm passionate, friendly, patient and fun. I love running, weightlifting, hiking, yoga, cycling, road trips and learning something new every day. I'm always on Reddit, Coursera, edX or Udacity, trying to learn something new.
