My name is Thomas D. Nguka, am 27 years old, born and raised in Rorya, Mara, Tanzania. I did my primary school in Nyasho in Mara, I passed and continue with Ulongoni secondary school till I graduate my O’ level. I continue with Multichoice College in 2011-2013, I passed and receive certificate of telecommunication based in satellite programing.
I start to work as volunteer at Dstv and I receive a contract as an installer for 2 years, Later on I join ZUKU TV as a chief installer of dish for 3 years, and I move forward to AZAM TV as a programmer and agent for 6 months.
I’m in pulse model management in 2019 but I’m
I start to do local modeling in 2016 and I decide to use the positivity, creativity and passion that I have in fashion and modeling industry by use our basic resource that we have to reach international modeling level. I did commercial advertisement, Swahili fashion week, Ambassador of HIV programs, and South Africa fashion week. In 2018 we decide to open our own association (Tanzanian Model Association)-TAMOA which has 250 members, I was chosen as Chairperson and it was presented by Minister of sport and Art in Tanzania.
Back in 2017 I decide to employ myself by selling masai shoes and blankets after I visit Mererani, Arusha and I saw how kids suffer and struggle to go to school every day, it takes them 2hrs and 30 mins to reach school every day go and return. So it touch me and I decide to help few kids by paying school fees and transport everyday but my aim is to open up a school that will be close to them so they won’t struggle to travel long distance every day.
