am an accounting graduate who has decided to go a totally different route and I'm now working as a producer, coordinator and presenter at a community television station.
I studied ballet for 8 years and have a love for dance. This lead me to cheerleading at Stellenbosch University as well as the University of the Western Cape. I've also danced at the IPL in Dubai and India, which was an amazing and humbling experience.
I've always been interested in people and their stories and I'm a keen observer of life. I've learnt so much because of it and jumped at some really cool opportunities.
I've been a model on the cover of a textbook, been a hostess at the Loerie Awards (where I met and partied with MC Hammer), been a runner at a concert and met Usher and Pharell in the process and helped someone who was stuck successfully navigate out of a parking space and in turn get invited to a yacht party. I've manned stands at many expos and learnt so much about solar power, sim cards and nappy rash in the process.
I'm dedicated and determined. I always try to complete a task to the best of my ability, even picking up other people's slack if I have to.
I've been told I have a very international look in that I could be from a number of different countries. I successfully pretended to be indian and paid a local fee at the Taj Mahal. I was also mistakenly for an Italian in Italy, and a Brazilian by a group of Brazilians. I'm often asked in Cape Town where I'm from as people find it hard to believe I'm from here. But I am, and I love it.
